Description:
• In charge of specifying, designing and testing new product concepts on component level, that meet customer performance and reliability targets
• Permanently partner with kinematics science engineers, A&S product engineers, designers, structural mechanics experts, test engineers, materials experts, manufacturing experts, quality experts.
• Drive technically and functionally key tasks from product design to product qualifications
• Accountable for product definition, product performance, reliability and quality of design and specifications of the components and sub systems. For this purpose work with modern reliability and mechanical engineering simulation tools.• Bring product expertise to support our customer teams for applications launch and early business development for critical business win.• Permanently document results and circulate them to peers for review and record in our documentation system (efficient knowledge sharing within the team).• Evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical best practices• Apply advanced and/or new techniques to solve problems having multiple variables.• Plan projects and work within the given constraints.• Develop new methods and standards for product development and validation.
